InnoTrans 2016 brought the global rail industry together in Berlin from 20 to 23 September 2016. The event hosted 2,955 exhibitors from 60 countries and covered 112,000 square metres of exhibition space.

A total of 127 vehicles were presented on the outdoor and track display, alongside 149 world premieres. The event attracted 137,391 trade visitors from more than 140 countries, with visitor satisfaction reported at over 90%.
